A Meaningful Christian LifeI am so thankful that the Lord has sovereignly arranged for me not only to know about, but also to enjoy the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. Every detail in the Bible can be applied to my Christian life! The stories in the Old Testament are not mere historical events, but they show how I can practically enjoy Christ today. For example, the children of Israel lived on the manna that came down out of heaven in the Old Testament (Exodus 16:4); today, Christ is our real manna, our real spiritual food (John 6:51,58). Every day, I can take Him in as my spiritual food!
I am also thankful for the Body of Christ expressed through many local churches. I am in a university program that involves a fair bit of traveling, but no matter where I go, I can meet with many other brothers and sisters who share the same divine life within and have the same goal to gain more Christ!
Watchman Nee's and Witness Lee's ministry and personal lives really encourage me to have a personal relationship with the Lord every day. Because I am a Christian, my Christian life must be meaningful, which means that God must be so real and personal to me on a daily basis.
